Both museums are free to enter, but donations are always appreciated and help us continue our mission.

Yes — there is plenty of street parking available, as well as free parking at the Farmer's Market.
Is photography permitted? +
Yes, photography is permitted throughout both museums.
Are animals permitted? +
Animals are not permitted inside the museums, with the exception of certified service dogs.
What else can the family do downtown? +
The city-owned B&O Train Station is a wonderful stop for kids of all ages. You can also explore the area on foot — visit the link below for several short walking tours of downtown Oakland.
The park is open to the public for general use. However, if you would like to hold an event there, please contact the museum at 301-334-3226 to request permission.
